How it works

Having a therapist come to your home is simpler than it sounds. Here's exactly what to expect.

1. When you reach out

A real person reads every message. We'll ask a few questions about what's bothering you, where you live, and what you're hoping to get back to. You'll get a clear, written estimate of your costs before treatment starts — no surprises — and we'll book your first visit. Most first visits can be scheduled within a few days.

2. Your first visit: the evaluation

Your therapist arrives at the time you agreed on. The first visit is a full evaluation: they'll talk with you about your history and goals, watch how you move, and gently test your strength, balance, and range of motion. When it's appropriate, treatment starts that same visit. You'll leave the first visit with a clear plan and a few simple things to do between visits.

3. What to have ready

  • A small open space to move — a living room or bedroom floor is plenty.
  • Comfortable clothes you can move in.
  • A list of your medications and any recent imaging or surgery notes, if you have them.
  • Any walker, cane, or brace you currently use.

You don't need any special equipment. Your therapist brings what's needed.

4. Ongoing visits

We'll set a schedule that fits your recovery — often one to three visits a week to start. Each visit builds on the last. As you improve, visits taper off, and we make sure you have a plan to keep your progress going on your own.
