Payment & pricing
We keep this simple and clear, because money shouldn't be a mystery when you're trying to get better.
We do not bill insurance. Doorstep is a cash-pay practice. That keeps your care between you and your therapist — no prior authorizations, no surprise denials. And you'll always receive a clear, written estimate of your costs before treatment starts.
Two ways to pay
Pay directly (self-pay)
Most self-pay patients pay around $250 for the initial evaluation and $130 per recurring session. Final cost depends on the services you need, so we confirm your estimate before you start — just email us.
Lien / Letter of Protection
If you're being treated for accident injuries and have an attorney, you may be able to treat now and pay from your settlement — no upfront cost. For injury patients →
Good Faith Estimate
Because we're a self-pay practice, federal law (the No Surprises Act) gives you the right to a Good Faith Estimate of what your care will cost. We provide one on request, and for scheduled care we provide it in writing before you begin.
For full details on this right — including how to request an estimate and what to do if a bill comes in higher — see our Good Faith Estimate notice.
